Toh Cooks Community Guidelines

Welcome to Toh Cooks! We are excited to have you as part of our community of passionate home cooks and food enthusiasts. To ensure a safe, respectful, and enjoyable experience for everyone, we ask all members to adhere to the following community guidelines, in accordance with Australian legal standards:

Treat all members with respect and kindness.Harassment, bullying, and hate speech are not tolerated.Discriminatory remarks based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or age are strictly prohibited.

 

2. Authenticity and Honesty

Be honest and authentic in your interactions.Only post content that is your own or that you have permission to share.Do not impersonate others or create fake accounts.

 

3. Safe and Legal Conduct​

Follow all Australian local, state, and federal laws.Do not engage in or promote illegal activities, including the sale of prohibited or regulated items.Ensure that all food preparation follows proper safety and hygiene practices as outlined by the Australian Food Safety Standards.

 

4. Quality and Relevance of Content​

Share high-quality, relevant content that contributes positively to the community.Avoid spamming, excessive self-promotion, or posting irrelevant content.Clearly label any sponsored or promotional content.

 

5. Privacy and Confidentiality

Respect the privacy of others. Do not share personal information without consent.Comply with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information.Do not post content that violates the privacy or confidentiality of others.

 

6. Constructive Feedback

Provide feedback in a constructive and respectful manner.Avoid personal attacks or derogatory comments when giving or receiving feedback.

 

7. Intellectual Property

Respect the intellectual property rights of others.Do not post content that infringes on copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights.Comply with the Australian Copyright Act 1968.

 

8. Reporting Violations

If you see something that violates these guidelines, report it to our support team.Do not engage in arguments or retaliate against other members.

Violations of these guidelines may result in warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent bans.The severity of the consequences will depend on the nature and frequency of the violations.
